Arctic Entries – Building Community, One Story at a Time

In the spirit of “This American Life” and other urban storytelling events, Arctic Entries brings Alaskans to the stage to share their personal stories, funny, sad and sweet. At each performance, seven people each tell a seven-minute long, true story relating to the show’s theme. Local musicians perform, as well.

We host monthly, Tuesday-evening performances from September through May in Anchorage. Let Arctic Entries warm you with great, homegrown stories.

Interested in telling a story at a future Arctic Entries event? Tell us about it!

The 2011-2012 season has come to a close.

Thank you to all of our storytellers and musical guests; Arctic Entries is nothing without your daring and effectual performances. Truly top-notch!

Thank you to our wonderful, loyal audience, which continues to grow; We appreciate your support, your engagement, your willingness to spread the word, and your patience with our volunteer-led endeavor.

This was a season full of highs for everyone involved. We were able to donate thousands of dollars to AWAIC (Abused Women’s Aid in Crisis), the seasons benefiting, local non-profit. We are already planning for our 2012-13 shows and look forward to making announcements here and on our Facebook page. In the meantime, enjoy all the wonders that summer in Alaska affords and we’ll see you in September.
